Chapter 1: A Dream Takes Flight

Our journey began with a dream of opening a cozy B&B in Spain. We envisioned sunlit mornings serving breakfast on a charming terrace, surrounded by the vibrant energy of Spanish culture. However, as we delved deeper into the logistics, it became clear that this wasn't our path. The language wasn´t a barrier but complex legal requirements, and intense competition made the idea less feasible than we had initially thought.

Yet, the idea of creating a new home lingered in our hearts, refusing to fade away. During a much-needed vacation in Bali, the allure of the island unexpectedly reignited our passion for property investment. With its lush landscapes, vibrant culture, and welcoming community, Bali seemed like paradise on earth. We spent our days exploring the island, visiting local markets, and experiencing the rich traditions that Bali had to offer.

As we wandered through the serene rice paddies and marvelled at the intricate Balinese architecture, the thought of investing in this magical place grew stronger. We spoke with locals and expats, gaining insights into the property market and the potential for creating a uniquely immersive experience for future guests. The idea of combining our love for hospitality with the enchanting atmosphere of Bali was both thrilling and daunting.

Soon, we found ourselves diving into research, learning about the process of buying property in Indonesia, and seeking advice from seasoned investors.
